March 2010:  Striderm would like to announce that they are a product sponsor for the Easter Twenty10 Orienteering Carnival to be held in Canberra between Friday 2nd April & Sunday 11th April. This promises to be a great event with competitors competing on different types of terrain every day. Good luck to all participants!

Striderm Director, Geoff Rynja, has not long returned from the Stromlo Running Festival where Striderm was again a product sponsor. Again this year, it was a great event.  However, it would be great to see more competitors, as ther are times where it could a little lonely out on the trail. At the event presentations, the event Patron, Rob deCastella,  suggested that each of this year's competitors should try to return next year bringing with them one or more new competitors. Geoff also determined his current level of fitness by taking part in the 1.2k Criterium Run on Friday, the 30k Lightening Strike Run on Saturday, and the 10k Pack Run on Sunday. It certainly felt like a marathon effort!

Striderm would like to welcome Northside Runners (Manly, NSW), Joggers World (Adelaide, SA), and FastGear Australia (Bondi Beach, NSW) as resellers. So, be sure to get along to these stores for your Striderm needs.

January 2010: Another year has quickly passed us by. How are those New Year Resolutions going? Striderm wishes you every success in achieving your 2010 goals.  Of course, we would like to be there helping with your personal comfort during training and racing.

Striderm has just been confirmed as the "Official Personal Care Product Sponsor for the Stromlo Running Festival 2010'. So, why not come to Canberra for 19-21 February and have an active camping 'holiday' at the Stromlo venue? Geoff will be there, and is planning to compete in some events.  If you do attend, then make sure you drop into the Event Expo to say 'Hello". While you are there take part in some or all of the events, and listen to the talks.  You can choose from events such as the Lightening Strike Run (30k, or 11k), the Australian Age/Sex Handicapped Cross Country (7.5k), and/or Mountain Race (3.6k).
