December 2011: Striderm would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone all the best for the Christmas and New Year season. We look forward to an exciting 2012. Make sure you keep your eye on this column for some exciting Striderm announcements.
Striderm attended the Toorbul Triathlon (olympic distance) on Sunday 4th December. Apart from being a product sponsor and watching triathletes of all abilities compete in this event, we had the great experience visiting somewhere new. The event, organised by Run Inn Promotions, was the last of this year's series of their olympic distance triathlons. We are sure the athletes enjoyed the presentations and random draws in the air-conditioned comfort of the local hall.
October 2011: Striderm will be at the Noosa Triathlon on the weekend of 29-30 October. If you are there, come along and see us at the 2XU Expo at the Sheraton Hotel. There will be an opportunity for you to meet the Striderm Ambassador, Brendan 'Kung Fu' Sexton, the elite Australian ITU Triathlete. Brendan will be on our stand sometime on Saturday. So, keep your eye out for the time. If your timing is right, you might be just able toget a few tips and grab his autograph. It should be a fabulous weekend of racing. We look forward to seeing you.
August 2011: Striderm is excited to announce the appointment of Brendan 'Kun Fu' Sexton as a Striderm Ambassador; Striderm was again a product sponsor at the 31st de Castella Run; Striderm Director runs the half marathon at the Brisbane Marathon Festival. Striderm will be a product sponsor at the Wivenhoe Triathlon on 20-21 August, and at the Rainbow Beach Triathlon on 3-4 September. Both are olympic distance events.
July 2011: Striderm products will be available at the Gold Coast Marathon Expo. We will be on one of the stands, so make sure you say hello. Striderm Director has entered the Half Marathon. Striderm tracks participants in the Kokoda Challenge.
June 2011: For a change of scenery and a low-key country race, a Striderm Director participated in some Warwick Pentath events; Stridem Directors participated in and provded product sponship for its local Koala Fun Run; Striderm was agin a product sponsor at the Queensland Half Marathon; Preparations should now be well underway for the Gold Coast Marathon.
April 2011: NEWS FLASH Striderm announces product sponsorship of the high profile Nike Hammer Team in the 2011 Kokoda Challenge, which takes place on the Gold Coast on the weekend of 16-17 July. If you are participating, make sure that you get along to a Kokoda Challenge Seminar, either in Brisbane or the Gold Coast, to get some valuable, inside knowledge from the previous event winners and current record holders.

Striderm News From 2008
December 2008: Seasons Greetings from Striderm to all its resellers and customers. We hope that you enjoy an active 2009.
We are pleased to annonced that, at the end of 2008, the number of resellers of Striderm products has continued to grow. During the past two months we welcomed our latest resellers on board, Shortis Cycle & Tri, Wharf Street Tweed Heads, See Me Run, and Sportsco Toombul.
November 2008: The triathlon season is now well and truly with us. Striderm is proud to announce that they are once again pleased to be associated with the Bribie Island Triathlon Series as a Personal Care Product Sponsor. This series, organised by The Run Inn Promotions, provides great events for both beginners and well-performed triathletes.
Geoff took his first 'competitive' step in a triathlon by completing the 10k run leg as part of a team in the famous Noosa Triathlon. He enjoyed the 'heat of the moment', as well as the great atmosphere. Geoff explains: "Out on a course I've never run under so many hoses, or done so many high fives!"
September 2008: Striderm enjoyed a successful Gold Coast Marathon, courtesy of The Run Inn, and our other resellers Aqua Shop and Allez Sports. We were able to introduce our products personally to many active bodies. Geoff participated in the full marathon.
Geoff had a run in the Noosa Half Marathon, which took place on 24th August. The big city marathons (Sydney, Melbourne) are just around the corner. We encouage participants to plan their person care for these events to minimise the discomfort caused by chafing (Striderm's Anti Chafe Extreme, or Anti Chafe Lotion), and by skin exposed to the elements (Striderm's Skin Survival Cream, Body Butter, or Lip Balm).

June 2008: The Queensland Half Marathon took place at Doomben on 1st June, and Striderm was pleased to take part as a product sponsor and to be present at the associated Leisure Expo. It was great to meet and talk with so many competitors. Congratulations must go to all the competitors, and we trust that all who participated achieved their expected level of performance.
The Gold Coast Marathon (6th July) is now just around the corner and much of the hard work has been/is being done. Competitors are now finalising plans for the day itself. So, don't foget in your planning to include your Striderm Anti Chafe product, and/or your Skin Survival Cream for that cool morning air. We look forward to meeting many competitors at the event Expo.
April 2008: This month Stridem released its first new product since the launch of its range of products for the skin of active people - Skin Survival Cream. We listened to feeback from the running, cycling and triathalon community to provide a moisturising product in more user friendly packaging. It is an ideal product for use as under cycle nicks, and other sporting equipment in those areas subject to rubbing. The Brisbane Marathon Festival (18-20 April) has come and gone, and by all reports this InTraining organised event, was a great success. Geoff took the opportunity to have his first 'competitive' outing since last year's Bridge-to-Brisbane. It was great to catch up with some old and new faces at Brisbane's Southbank.
March 2008: The 2008 Gold Coast Marathon season is on the horizon - have you planned your skin protection strategy yet? As we know, the 2008 Mooloolaba Triathalon is now history. Many athletes of all abilities are now turning their attention to selecting their event and corresponding training program for the 2008 Gold Coast Marathon. Many feet are starting to pound out the necessary kilometers. The local lead-up events are about to commence starting with the Brisbane Marathon Festival (Southbank, April), and the Queensland Half Marathon (Doomben, June). Striderm is pleased to announce that they will once again be associated with the Queensland Half Marathon. We look forward to meeting you there!
